Bio

Having to describe myself in a few paragraphs is a strange thing to do but I’ll give it my best shot:

Born on the beautiful twin island nation of Trinidad and Tobago, I am an author and freelance editor who enjoys writing fictional stories. When I’m not emptying my head of ideas you can usually find me outside basking in the sweltering heat of the Florida sunshine as I try to sequester the love of the neighborhood cats. When inside, you can find me sitting at my desk writing stories, penning ideas or doing my favorite thing in the world – procrastinating.

I find great enjoyment in killing time on Imgur and playing “old school” video games from the SNES and PS1 and 2. I’m a huge fan of anime and obscure foreign films, and I also love being in the kitchen, cooking up an assortment of treats for myself and my husband. When the moment is right, I enjoy painting watercolor pieces (though I’m not very good) or reading in bed. I’m also teaching myself to play the violin but so far my efforts have been…tragic to say the least.

My head is so jam packed with ideas and stories that my doctors have expressed concern that it may one day explode (there’s a fancy medical term for it, I swear!) so to prevent such a terrible end, I am under doctor’s orders to empty my thoughts onto paper (or screen).  My books are a portal into the beautiful insanity of my mind and I tend to write any and everything that catches my interest which is why you’ll find a range of genres bearing my name, but my preferred genre has and will always be horror/thriller.

I’m a die-hard fan of Stephen King but I take my inspiration from everything I come into contact with, including people! Who knows, maybe one day you’ll end up being a character in my world, just know that I tend to have a penchant for killing my characters off, so understand it’s nothing personal!
